multipath reflection

Multipath reflection refers to a situation in which a single radio signal is reflected from several obstacles, causing multiple signals to arrive at a receiving antenna. Because the true signal and reflected signals travel different distances, they arrive at different times, causing audio echoes or video “ghosting.” This term is also referred to as “multipath reception.”
