coaxial cable

Coaxial cable is a type of copper wiring typically used for cable television transmission and high-speed Internet connectivity. Coaxial cable typically consists of a central copper or copper-coated conductor surrounded by flexible insulation, a shield of wire mesh, and an outer plastic jacket. Older installation of Ethernet LANs also used coax cable.
